About the Role
As a Client Documentation - Senior Officer you will support the Institutional business units in Singapore (and Asia for OBU) for Client Documentation activities. Interact with Business and relevant stakeholders and co-ordinate with GCC and other in-country Client Documentation teams to deliver Lending documentation, fulfillment and lending life cycle management services. Support Line Manager to fulfill Business’ initiatives as and when required. This role requires strong knowledge on client documentations, loan product knowledge, operational and risk management skills to ensure deals are closed successfully. This role also supports back-up activities of a checker and coach junior staff as and when required, as directed by Head of Client Documentation.

What will your day look like?
As a Client Documentation - Senior Officer you;
- Support management and business decisions related to cost
- Provide high service levels to internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring clear and accurate communication
- Escalate written customer concerns to supervisor/manager appropriately
- Manage the documentation process efficiently to meet internal SLAs
- Review Credit Memorandum Pack and facility agreements to ensure alignment with approved terms and conditions
- Prepare Letters of Offer/Variation and security documents, ensuring approval conditions protect the bank’s interests
- Liaise with internal/external counsel on modifications to documentation
- Check constitutional, facility and security documents for compliance with regulations and bank policies
- Maintain monitoring and control procedures, including tracking documentation status and preparing outstanding reports
- Lodge original documents, ensure scanning/upload to FileNet, and update CCMS
- Prepare instruction checklists and liaise with GCC for timely and accurate limit implementation
- Monitor expiry dates for securities, valuations, insurance and update annual review details accordingly
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience in Lending documentation for institutional banking.
- Strong relationship management capabilities, with the ability to build trust and engage effectively across stakeholders
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage complex and bespoke transactions with attention to detail and sound judgement
- Solid grounding in operational risk and compliance requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being able to self‑manage and take ownership of tasks
- Capability to build strong internal and external networks to support effective collaboration and information flow
