About the Role

As a Senior Officer for Client Documentation, you will support lending transactions by managing documentation activities end-to-end across the lending lifecycle. You will ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant and aligned with approved credit conditions, while delivering timely and high-quality outcomes for customers and stakeholders.


You will work closely with business, legal, risk and offshore teams to enable smooth transaction execution, while maintaining strong governance and risk management practices. You will also support team capability through knowledge sharing and coaching.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Officer for Client Documentation, you will:

 

  • Manage end-to-end lending documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely execution.
  • Review and interpret credit approvals and transaction requirements to prepare, negotiate, execute, and maintain facility and security documentation that appropriately reflects approved credit conditions and protects the Bank's interests.
  • Ensure documentation, collateral records, system data, and lifecycle management activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, audit standards, and operational control requirements.
  • Coordinate with Relationship Teams, Offshore Teams, Legal Counsel, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely transaction execution, facility implementation, lending servicing, and lifecycle management activities
  • Monitor documentation, reporting and control processes to maintain strong governance and risk management
  • Prepare and maintain internal and regulatory reporting, management information, and transaction trackers to support governance, operational oversight, and business decision-making
  • Support team capability through coaching, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Strong knowledge of lending documentation, including facility agreements and security documentation
  • Solid understanding of loan products, credit approvals and lending structures
  • Strong risk and compliance awareness, including regulatory and audit requirements
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business, legal, risk and operations teams
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet timelines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    Good to have:

  • Experience working with offshore or shared service delivery models
  • Exposure to regulatory or management reporting
  • Experience in process improvement, standardisation or automation initiatives
