About the Role

As a Senior Manager for Pre Trade Services, you will lead the Singapore-based Pre Trade Services team and play a critical role in supporting the Markets Client Lifecycle across onboarding, amendments, offboarding, regulatory remediation, and client servicing activities. You will act as a key point of contact for Markets lifecycle matters across Southeast Asia, partnering closely with Front Office, clients, compliance, risk, operations, and external stakeholders. 


This role requires deep expertise in Markets products, client onboarding, regulatory requirements, and trade lifecycle processes to ensure an exceptional client experience while maintaining strong risk and control outcomes.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Manager for Pre Trade Services, you will:

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for Markets client onboarding, lifecycle management, client servicing, and escalation management.
  • Provide oversight and quality assurance across onboarding due diligence, periodic reviews, and client data management activities.
  • Act as an escalation point for clients, Sales teams, and Relationship Managers, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and professionally.
  • Drive prioritisation of onboarding and lifecycle activities to support client outcomes, franchise priorities, and business growth.
  • Partner with Front Office, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure regulatory and product requirements are met.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure end-to-end processes comply with ANZ policies, governance standards, and regulatory obligations.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead implementation initiatives across regional and global teams.
  • Produce management reporting and provide insights on team performance, client service outcomes, and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and career development support to team members while fostering a strong risk and customer-focused culture

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Significant experience within Markets Operations, Client Lifecycle Management, Client Onboarding, KYC, or Pre Trade Services environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Markets products, client types, trade lifecycle processes, and associated operational workflows.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and control frameworks within financial markets.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound risk-based decisions.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships across Front Office, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to lead outcomes without formal authority.
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvements, operational efficiencies, and change initiatives.
  • Strong project management capabilities and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
