About the Role

As a PMO Business Analyst, you will be responsible for enabling delivery of a major program/project by supporting the Project Management Office (PMO), to ensure alignment of standards and compliance of the program/project with agreed governance, policies and processes.  You will also be supporting the tracking of costs and benefits and support for the end-to-end delivery of the program/project, and managing an integrated master schedule across all delivery streams.

 

Role Type: 12 Months’ Fixed Term, Full Time

What will your day look like?

As a PMO Business Analyst, your key responsibilities includes:

  • Support the Project Manager/Program Director and Steering Committee and other governance groups by overseeing financials, tracking benefits and budgets, providing analysis and information to facilitate informed decision making.
  • Facilitate end-stage reviews and support the program/projects continuing alignment to business objectives and budget.
  • Identify and manage dependencies between streams and ensure no overlaps in responsibilities.
  • Assist the Project Professionals practice in the management of Programs/Projects against budget.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, managers, and key stakeholders, anticipating and responding to evolving customer needs through controlling and delivering project communications.
  • Assist with procurement and monitor contracts and third-party performance to the program/project.
  • Monitor the change management approach in a complex environment.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Previous Project Management experience gained across a variety of project types (or related senior business management experience) Understanding of investment banking products (front to back lifecycle).
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, commitment and contribution to building and motivating the PO team, ability to balance program/project and staff needs.
  • Handled Markets and Trade projects in the past is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of PMO management, finance processes, risk, and project management standards.
  • Competency in scheduling (MS Project and Excel) is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Qualified with PMO or PMP certification is preferred.
