ANZ’s newest program will help you take the next big step in your career. As part of the 18-month opportunity, you’ll learn the ropes building both your technical expertise and your transferrable skills and gain exposure with a number of rotations across different areas of the Global Markets - Institutional bank that represent both core and specialised offerings for the Bank’s biggest customers. At the conclusion of the program you will transition into a permanent role in a Trading or Sales function in Global Markets.
What we do in Global Markets?
Our Global Markets professionals are trusted partners, helping our customers access foreign exchange, interest rates, credit and commodities markets. Our teams manage risk, optimise their investments, and fund themselves via Capital Markets.
What will your day look like?
You will have the opportunity to learn from highly experienced professionals, specialist and subject matter experts from a cross-section of the community and have the opportunity to provide your own perspective and insight into the ever-evolving world of banking and finance including but not limited to;

Working with collaborative teams to make data-driven decisions and deliver innovative solutions for the bank’s biggest customers.

Using data to inform better trading decision and generating customer insights.

Using your problem-solving skills to balance individual customer needs with a big picture view.

Working in financial markets, which is always moving, so every day is different, and the buzz of the dealing room is hard to beat.

Specific experience or qualifications in banking & trading aren’t required to be great in this role – we’ll teach you everything you need to know about banking as part of the program and continue to invest in you and your career.
You may have already built your professional career in any discipline including but not limited to– Pharmaceutical, Defence, Professional Services Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or Commerce and now looking for a change in pathway.
