About the Role
The Payments & Cash management (PCM) business is evolving rapidly, with wide-ranging market innovation in digitalization, real-time payments and liquidity management. In addition, our customers are becoming increasingly specialized in their buying decisions as they evolve their business and treasury operations.
As Head of Strategic Sales – PCM, International your role will be to;
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies for PCM solutions across International, and working with our teams across our network actively drive sales, business origination and execution of PCM mandates across the US - Europe -Asia corridor
- establish industry-leading PCM sales practices, and
- leverage thought leadership and market knowledge into executable plans, working with Transaction Banking (TB) sales and coverage teams across International
Using your strong influencing abilities, you will work alongside our TB sales heads and sales teams to engage with existing key and prospective customers and originate new PCM opportunities in International. You will work with a network sales mindset to drive the best results for our customers and for ANZ
This role requires a self-starter with deep PCM experience, a thought leader and effective communicator who can lead via influence to scale-up our PCM business, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the International region.
This role is a member of the Transaction Banking International Leadership (TB - ILT) team and reports to the Head of Transaction Banking, International

What will your day look like?
As Head of Strategic Sales – PCM, International you will:
- Originate, support and lead PCM solutioning across International, with a strong focus on the US-Europe-Asia corridor
- Contribute innovative ideas into ANZ’s responses to customer Request for proposals (RFPs), driving successful outcomes and enhancing client engagement .
- Coordinate, connect and unify efforts across the sales teams in International to build and nurture relationships across the network to strengthen connections and expand PCM business opportunities.
- Create and drive demand by identifying and addressing unmet needs, overseeing connectivity and crafting PCM initiatives, campaigns and drives to drive strategic PCM results.
- Evolve and implement commercialisation and campaign initiatives across International to replicate PCM success.
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Deep understanding and knowledge of Transaction Banking, structuring PCM solutions for Institutional / MNC customers, competitor landscape, and the International markets.
- Extensive PCM sales / product leadership experience. Experience across multiple geographies will be an advantage
- Proven understanding of PCM customer solutions and strategy, thought-leadership, relevant regulation that has an influence on PCM solutions across ANZ’s International markets.
- People leadership, influence and change management , cross team collaboration and shared purpose across sales, product businesses.
- Growth mindset and deep understanding of emerging technologies including future regulatory changes.
