About the Role
The Head of Commercial Real Estate, International, will define a consistent approach for and act as the central subject matter expert for our clients in Property Fund and Corporate Property Businesses. This role provides end-to-end transactional and strategic support, including deal execution, credit approvals, and portfolio management. The successful candidate will lead our international property strategy, policy, and risk appetite from a Coverage perspective, working closely across Corporate, Financial Institutions Group, and other stakeholders to ensure robust governance and commercial outcomes.
This role is a designated Material Risk Person (MRP) under the MAS Guidelines on Individual Accountability and Conduct (GIAC) and will assist the Senior Manager (SM) accountable for the Core Management Function of Coverage for the ANZ Singapore Branch. This MRP role is responsible for timely escalation to the SM to assist the SM’s in discharging their accountabilities.

What will your day look like?
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Build and manage strong client relationships to deliver meaningful insights and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with Products, Risk, Research & Analysis, and regional stakeholders to deliver strong client, audit, and business outcomes.
- Grow and maintain a high‑quality client base, increasing wallet share through disciplined account planning and client engagement.
- Lead and guide teams to generate new business and build robust pipelines.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Commercial Real Estate with a proven record of relationship management.
- Ensure full portfolio compliance across KYC, AML, credit reviews, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proactive oversight of credit quality, identify early risks and taking timely action.
- Ensure high‑quality data integrity, analysis, and strong risk‑return outcomes for the bank.
- Lead, coach, and develop relationship managers, including onboarding, training, leadership capability and succession planning.
- Ensuring compliance with group standards and regulatory requirements.
