About the Role
As an End User Technology Engineer in our Singapore Desktop Support team, you will manage the ANZ SG Tech bar, providing walk-in assistance to staff for IT incidents and requests.
In this role, you will help ensure the continuous availability of business systems for end users and oversee the provisioning and collection of hardware for new employees and leavers. You will also be responsible for recording and actioning incidents and requests efficiently, working closely with ANZ technology support through Tech Connect records.
Beyond day-to-day support, you will assist with technical availability during system or infrastructure changes, ensure IT standards are upheld, and maintain accurate asset records to keep operations running smoothly.

What will your day look like?
As an End User Technology Engineer you will;

Identify opportunities to reduce operating and monthly costs in the technology department.

Ensure appropriate allocation and efficient utilization of resources for IT support tasks.

Work towards timely resolutions of outages to minimize disruptions to business operations.

Ensure all incident records are properly logged, assigned, and escalated in the ANZ technology Tech Connect database.

Address tasks assigned via Tech Connect promptly and coordinate user feedback until resolution.

Manage the availability and integrity of ANZ applications and infrastructure in the Singapore offices.

Oversee IT support operations, ensuring scheduled tasks are executed efficiently.

Adhere to Incident and Change Management procedures while maintaining compliance with security policies.

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to support IT operations.

Adapt flexibly to competing priorities under the direction of the IT Manager.

Participate in knowledge-sharing and skill development within the team.

Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, processes, and standards, escalating risks as needed.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline is preferred.

Strong experience in the technology field.

Experience working in financial institutions or a similar environment, with an understanding of technologies for end users.

Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality solutions.

Effective communication skills for stakeholder management.
-
Basic networking knowledge to support IT infrastructure.

A customer service-oriented approach, ensuring excellent user experience.
