About the Role
As a Director, International Rates Trader, you will be contributing to the achievement of the Markets business objectives in Singapore by providing leadership, management, strategic direction and financial results for all facets of International Rates business, to meet current and future targets, within costs and the current Markets control and limits framework. In this role, you will manage franchise flows for International Rates, based in Singapore.

What will your day look like?
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Promote collaboration to achieve International Rates, financial targets and maximise International Rates Franchise Trading revenue.
- Strengthen sales/trading cooperation and engage senior leadership team to drive optimal business outcomes.
- Deliver consistent, competitive and timely pricing to both internal and external clients.
- Provide key insights, market intelligence & risk/price rationale from International Rates markets to the rest of Markets Franchise Trading, Sales & Strategy team.
- Enhance risk awareness and embed a strong risk culture, ensuring effective limit management and full compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Follow front office control checks and deal processes to limit transactional processing risk issues prevent operational risk/trading errors.
- Ensure alignment and adherence with Markets dealing and distribution mandates, suitability frameworks, governance and conduct policies, processes and standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to applicable external regulatory requirements.
- Identify key business risks and develop appropriate monitoring and remediation plans to manage effectively.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
- Strong trading background covering International Rates markets. Extensive knowledge of relevant Asia markets.
- Experience with working in teams operating across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Knowledge of regulatory framework and requirements in relevant countries.
- Experience in dealing with internal and external clients and negotiating with clients and stakeholders at all seniority levels. Strong customer focus and ability to drive results.
- Good risk management skill set and willing to work in high pressure environment.
