About the Role
As an Audit Lead, you will play an important role in delivering independent assurance across Institutional Banking customer value chains and related operations.
You will lead lower-complexity audit engagements and contribute to larger, more complex audits, assessing the effectiveness of governance, risk management and controls. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will help identify key risks, provide valuable insights, and ensure audit outcomes support sound decision-making and customer-focused outcomes.

What will your day look like?
As an Audit Lead, you will:
- Lead audit engagements of lower complexity or contribute as a team member on more complex audits across Institutional Banking operations and customer value chains
- Support risk identification, audit scoping and testing activities, focusing on material risks, customer outcomes and control effectiveness
- Apply audit methodology, risk frameworks and professional judgement to deliver high-quality, evidence-based audit outcomes
- Engage with business stakeholders throughout audit delivery, building effective working relationships and managing audit discussions constructively
- Use data analytics and emerging technologies to strengthen audit insights, testing and efficiency, while contributing to a strong risk and speak-up culture
- Support development of audit team members and a strong risk and speak‑up culture
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong knowledge of internal audit methodology, audit execution, reporting and issue validation practices
- Deep understanding of Institutional Banking products, services, operating models and customer value chains
- Strong experience assessing risks relating to conduct, fraud, compliance, operational resilience and transaction processing activities
- Demonstrated experience delivering medium to high-complexity audits or audit workstreams with high-quality outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate audit findings and challenge constructively
- Practical experience using data and analytics to strengthen audit planning, testing and insights
Good to have: - Experience working in Institutional Banking, Operations or Internal Audit within a financial services environment
- Exposure to remediation reviews, thematic reviews or regulatory-focused reviews
- Experience auditing change, transformation or large program initiatives within Institutional environments
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, CIA or equivalent
