About the Role
As an Associate Director, Transaction Banking Financial Institutions (TBFI) sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving Transaction Banking growth within the NBFI segment, owning the mandate to maximise opportunities and deliver sustainable revenue across your portfolio. Leveraging both market insights and the bank’s network, you will position differentiated product propositions that create meaningful value for clients.
Managing a diverse portfolio spanning Diversified Financials, Leasing, Funds, Insurance, and Brokers/Dealers, you will operate at the forefront of Transaction Banking innovation. As part of the TBFI Sales team, you will have the opportunity to unlock regional opportunities and bring cross-border client solutions to life, contributing directly to the bank’s growth ambitions.

What will your day look like?
As an Associate Director, Transaction Banking Financial Institutions (TBFI) sales, you will
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients with operations spanning multiple regions
- Define and implement tactical sales strategies and initiatives
- Drive focus on Payment and Cash Management (PCM) and Liquidity Management solutions
- Support and contribute to regional sales activities
- Deepen client relationships through a strong understanding of client requirements
- Support and respond to RFIs and RFPs
- Deliver client presentations and product demonstrations
- Collaborate with FIG Relationship Management teams across the globe
- Partner with Product teams across PCM and Trade Finance to deliver solutions
- Work closely with Enablement teams to ensure smooth execution
- Support delivery of business objectives while ensuring a positive client experience
- Achieve revenue and returns targets while maintaining strong discipline, including proactive escalation of risk and compliance matters
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Specialist product knowledge in Transaction Banking solutions including Treasury, Payments and Cash Management, and Trade Finance
- Ability to identify and develop sales strategies and portfolio growth plans
- Strong ability to manage competing agendas and prioritise across a client portfolio
- Results-oriented mindset with strong perseverance and a solutions-driven approach
- Autonomous self-starter with high attention to work quality and standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Regional PCM experience and knowledge of NBFI customers in the ASEAN and India region
- Curiosity and understanding of digital trends and innovation including Blockchain, Real Time Payments, e-wallets, Digital Assets, APIs and IoT
- Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
- Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and data visualisation/analytics tools, with additional strengths in data analytics, marketing, commercialisation, or design considered advantageous
- Relevant qualifications, including a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with experience in Transaction Banking
