About the Role
As a Financial Institutions FX Sales, you will be responsible for delivering trading and risk management solutions across a range of FX products to Financial Institutional clients, including Asset Managers, Banks, Central Banks, Financial Sponsors, and other Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs).
As a client-facing position, the individual will play a key role in the full sales lifecycle — from lead generation and pipeline management through to deal execution. The successful candidate will be expected to actively drive revenue by deepening existing client relationships while also identifying and developing new business opportunities.

What will your day look like?
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Drive revenue growth for the desk by delivering FX advisory and executing vanilla and derivative products for Financial Institution clients.
- Partner closely with Relationship Managers and Trading to manage client portfolios, onboard new accounts, and identify revenue opportunities.
- Respond to client pricing and advisory needs across voice and electronic channels, strengthening client relationships.
- Support execution of Markets and International strategies for Financial Institutions Sales across Asia.
- Maintain strong risk management discipline, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with Risk and Credit teams to identify, assess, and mitigate portfolio risks.
- Implement and monitor front office controls and processes to minimize operational and transactional risks.
- Foster high performance, teamwork, and knowledge sharing across the business.
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships while role modelling ANZ values, governance, and conduct standards.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
- Strong Global Markets Sales background and extensive knowledge of the relevant markets. Sales experience with Financial Institutions clients, specifically with FX products, will be an advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of Markets products, processes and regulatory frameworks for countries in Asia that ANZ operates in.
- Strong customer focus and ability to develop strong relationships.
- Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders and negotiating with clients and other relevant stakeholders across various levels in the organization.
- Experience with working in a team across multiple geographies and time zones.
