About the Role
We are seeking a high-energy professional with a strong work ethic to join our Financial Institutions Group (“FIG”) in Singapore. In this role, you will support a team of senior coverage bankers in maximising business revenue and returns from a portfolio of FIG customers, with a primary focus on Banks and secondary exposure to Non-Bank Financial Institutions. You will play a key role in the implementation and execution of ANZ FIG strategy globally.

What will your day look like?
- Relationship management including client engagement, account servicing, onboarding, ongoing reviews, account planning and deal management.
- Support the origination, structuring, evaluation, and execution of business opportunities and transactions.
- Strong engagement with stakeholders including product partners, operations, risk, Research & Analysis as well as the ANZ network to deliver successful outcomes.
- Support the team to ensure the portfolio is well-managed and in compliance with the Bank’s credit policies, group standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support strategic initiatives while ensuring adherence to risk, compliance, and first-line-of-defence responsibilities through effective risk management practices.
- Contribute to a high-performing and collaborative team culture through strong communication, stakeholder engagement and continuous learning.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Previous experience in Financial Industry is advantageous, particularly with FIG experience.
- Strong team player with demonstrated ability to build solid internal/external relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Acute analytical thinking abilities and a quick learner.
- Highly organised with the ability to handle an atmosphere of demanding high-pressure work and stretched working hours, when required.
- Self-motivated and proactive with capacity to operate successfully across cultures.
- Ability to operate in a fast paced and dynamic environment with varied work responsibility depending on business needs.
