About the Role

 

As an Analyst, Debt Capital Markets, you will support a broader team in tasks with exposure to Asia debt markets across various countries in the South, Southeast Asia and Middle East region. In this role, you will help the Singapore-based team in the origination and execution of debt capital markets transactions. Core Focus Countries is on ASEAN, India and the Middle East.

 

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time

What will your day look like?

 

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:       

 

  • Support senior DCM team in developing relationships with clients of the bank in ANZ’s core markets and working in partnership with internal stakeholders such as Syndicate, Sales and Relationship Managers.
  • Support origination process by understanding our clients’ borrowing requirements and objectives, helping to develop a tailored capital markets strategy
  • Support the capital markets execution process, managing legal, market and due diligence workstreams within set timeframe
  • Support the DCM Desk to develop and enhance internal business processes, taking into account compliance, risk, financial and other requirements
  • Support the design and development of the core marketing strategy, including presentations, credit analysis, and other relevant marketing materials
  • Meet all regulatory & compliance requirements within specified time parameters

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

 

  • Previous experience in the financial markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation in English.  Other native language abilities including Bahasa or Hindi are an advantage but not a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, acute analytical thinking abilities, and a quick learner.
  • Highly organised with the ability to handle an atmosphere of demanding high-pressure work and stretched working hours as required.
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to build solid internal / external relationships.
