As an Associate Director, Transaction Banking FI sales, you will have accountability to drive Transaction Banking business opportunities for your assigned portfolio of NBFI clients which include Leasing Companies, Funds, Insurance, Brokers/Dealers etc

In addition to growing revenue from your existing clients, this role is expected to originate new business opportunities and explore new clients, through adopting advisory approach towards clients and leveraging the bank’s capabilities and network.

You will work closely with different internal stakeholders to structure the most suitable solutions and deliver the best value propositions for clients.

What will your day look like?

As an Associate Director, Transaction Banking FI sales, you will be accountable for:

  • Manage and grow revenue for the assigned portfolio of clients

  • Identify new business opportunities, customize TB solutions, and deliver presentations / demonstrations for clients, lead or support RFI/RFP etc

  • Develop and execute TB FI sales strategies and initiatives

  • Work with a diverse set of stakeholders across the globe: FIG Relationship Management, Product team covering Payment and Cash Management (PCM) and Trade Finance (Trade), Technology, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Client Service/Implementation teams, and Enablement teams to deliver positive business outcomes and uplift customer experience

  • While achieving your set revenue and returns target, you will also be exercising strong discipline in well-managed agenda; through proactive management of risk and compliance matters, timely escalation to the appropriate business partners

 

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Extensive years of experience in Transaction Banking business, with sales experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field is preferred

  • Specialist product knowledge in Transaction Banking solutions and products (Payments and Cash Management, Trade Finance)

  • Good understanding of China market

  • This role requires to communicate with Mandarin and English speaking clients thus written and spoken language capabilities in both these languages is a must.

  • Ability to identify business opportunities and develop sales strategies

  • Ability to manage competing agendas/priorities across the portfolio and with multiple stakeholders

  • Result oriented with strong display pf perseverance. Solutions driven mindset

  • Autonomous self-starter and meticulous in work quality and standards, and also a collaborative team player
