About the Role

As a Senior Associate, Research & Analysis, you will manage a portfolio of customers in Korea, applying credit and risk assessment and deal structuring capabilities to execute transactions jointly with Relationship Bankers, Product Partner professionals and Institutional Risk.

Role Type: Full-time; Permanent   

What will your day look like?

  • Optimise the financial position of the ANZ Korea business through effective ongoing credit management including timely credit reviews, accurate risk grading and early identification of risks.
  • Prepare credit memoranda covering key risks and mitigants, customer and industry assessment, and financial analysis.
  • Acquire deep understanding of customers and provide clear communication with Risk and Business stakeholders.
  • Help drive client relationships through high quality analysis and insight to expand client engagement and capture opportunities within acceptable risk parameters.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers as part of the management of the customer's credit facility requirements and ongoing credit risk review.
  • Promote ANZ’s core values, building collaborative working relationships across different business units including relationship, product, risk, operations and enablement, to support timely delivery of outcomes of customers.

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Strong credit risk identification, facility structuring and financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage real-time business demands requiring accurate assessment of risk and reward.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, including ability to articulate information in a concise format.
  • Proficiency in English language is required, as the role will communicate with global stakeholders. Korean language skills will be viewed as a positive, however not mandatory for success in the role.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed team player.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field including Commerce, Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
