About the Role
As an Officer, Payments and Cash Operations, you will mainly provide the checker and supervision support in the process for Markets Products.

Role Type: Full-time; Permanent
What will your day look like?
- Timely and accurate processing of payment and cash transactions.
- Support team members in processing daily Payment & Cash/Markets transactions, including settlements, confirmation preparation, confirmation and supporting document follow-ups, payment instruction preparation, and fund follow-ups within delegated discretion and in compliance with Group policies, internal procedures, and local regulations.
- Prepare confirmations related to various transactions.
- Conduct internal checks, particularly where verification responsibility is delegated.
- Reconcile applicable GL and suspense accounts in line with Group standards.
- Update data and rating figures to support management reporting.
- Maintain and update Markets Operations Procedures in line with relevant regulations, requirements, and agreements.
- File confirmations from counterparties and deal contracts in accordance with procedures.
- Set up new customers/counterparties and settlement instructions to support efficient processing.
- Provide friendly and responsive customer service to both internal and external clients using excellent communication skills.
- Ensure service quality and processing are delivered within agreed standards.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven year of banking experience in Payment and Cash operations area
- Sound knowledge and understanding on Payment and Cash products and local regulations
- Good experience in SWIFT and local payments systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and applications
- Good communication skills both written and verbal, organising and prioritising skills
- Experience in financial accounting is a plus
- Tertiary qualifications in a financial discipline
