About the Role
As an Associate, Institutional Sales, you are responsible in providing risk management services across a range of Markets products (primarily FX, Rates and Commodities) to Institutional/Corporate Korean clients. Your role is a direct customer facing and you will be actively involved in sales.

What will your day look like?
- Maximise the sales revenue for the desk (CAF + CFV) by providing FX, Interest Rate and Commodity solutions to the target client base
- Drive franchise revenue growth and increase EP from clients, working with structuring and onshore sales to identify and effectively cross-sell all our products
- Work closely with Relationship and onshore sales to ensure comprehensive understanding and management of the client portfolio inc. smooth onboarding, identifying opportunities and proactive dealing.
- Actively promote cross-sell and increase the number of Markets products distributed into existing client base
- Support the delivery of key sales aspects of the Markets strategy and international strategy relating to Institutional Sales in Korea
- Improve Risk Awareness & Risk Culture and ensure limit management and compliance with all internal and external requirements.
- Work with Enablement partners in Risk and Credit to better understand and identify risks within the client portfolio and how to mitigate those risks.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven experience in global markets sales and knowledge of the relevant markets. Sales experience with Corporate and Institutional clients (preferably Korean Corporates) across multiple asset classes.
- Strong knowledge of Markets products, processes and regulatory frameworks for countries in Asia where ANZ operates in, specifically Korea
- Strong customer focus and ability to develop strong relationships
- Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders and negotiating with clients and stakeholders at all seniority levels
- Experience with working in a team across multiple geographies and time zones
- Excellent communication skills, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Business-level Korean and English language proficiency (written and verbal), as this role will be required to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders in both languages
