About the Role

 

As an Analyst, Market Operations, you are mainly responsible in providing maker/checker and supervision support in the process for Markets Products.

Role Type: Full-time; Permanent   

What will your day look like?

  • Process Markets transactions accurately and on time in compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Support settlements, confirmations, payments, and funding activities within delegated authority.
  • Prepare, match, and follow up on trade confirmations and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of outputs in line with SLAs.
  • Perform transaction verification and internal control checks.
  • Reconcile GL and suspense accounts in accordance with Group standards.
  • Prepare regulatory, internal, and operational reports.
  • Produce control and exception reports to support Front Office activities.
  • Maintain static data, customer setup, settlement instructions, and management information.
  • Update Markets Operations procedures and file confirmations and contracts per policy.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, escalate, and report operational risks and control breaches.
  • Support fraud prevention, risk mitigation, and control effectiveness.
  • Provide timely, professional support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resolve inquiries and complaints within agreed service standards.
  • Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines with minimal overtime.
  • Support team members, provide coverage, and share best practices.

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Proven experience in banking, specifically within Markets Operations.
  • Background in financial accounting and reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of Markets products and applicable local regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with SWIFT messaging and local payment systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English and Korean to support local and global stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
