About the Role

As a Personal Banker, your role is to provide our customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting each customer’s end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, need-based conversations and educating them on digital solutions. You will focus on digital banking, account opening, personal lending, as well as understanding and solving customer issues and concerns.

As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with colleagues to achieve the goals and objectives of your branch, while contributing to the success of your country and region.

What will your day look like?

As a Personal Banker, you will:

• Educate customers on Digital ways to Bank, enable them to have access to the bank’s solutions and to ‘walk out working’.
• Conduct A-Z financial reviews with customers to help them to improve their financial wellbeing and actively participate in proactive calling as required of you by your line manager.
• Meet customers’ borrowing needs with secured or unsecured loans, and actively seek quality home loan referrals.
• Proactively manage customer issues or complaints and record these, and compliments, in the Banks Customer experience portal within prescribed timeframes.
• You will work collaboratively with your team and other Bank staff, and complete other tasks as required of you by your Branch or line Manager, and as noted in your Business Plan.
• Provide support and assistance, within your capability, to all types of customers who you interact with.

• Role models a strong customer focus, preferably with retail experience
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results with a strong focus on outcomes and exceptional service.
• Solid product knowledge and the ability to apply it effectively.
• Clear understanding of risk management and how policies and processes mitigate risks.
• Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
