About the Role

As an FX Dealer, you are responsible in managing the traded currency risk and delivers products to a set of strategic and transactional clients. You will provide a professional, high-quality service to ANZ’s customers by offering FX products. As the first point of call for the customers, you are also responsible for delivering a superior customer experience and achieving continuous revenue growth.

Role Location: ANZ Branch Rarotonga, Cooks Islands

Role Type: Permanent; Full-time

What will your day look like?

• Manage the currency risk positions and FX trading to maximise revenue
• Lead revenue generation by analysing customer base area and developing and implementing sales, service and action plans provided by Markets Manager to achieve sustainable growth and profit
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of FX products and the market environment
• Ensure FX and payments services/advice are delivered efficiently and accurately
• Identify leads and sales opportunities to grow the customer portfolio
• Manage the migration and expansion of the existing customer base for both existing ANZ customers and new to ANZ customers
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with your customers, providing them with accurate and relevant market information on foreign exchange rates and products

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Proven experience in foreign exchange markets and core vanilla FX products
• Good knowledge of front and back-office processes and procedures
• Demonstrated sales and customer relationship management ability
• Ability to work within a high-performance culture and display initiative, with a demonstrated ability to manage time and priorities
• Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills
