About the Role
As the Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) Support Manager, you will form part of the Investment Management & Delivery Office and will report to the Change and Support Services Manager within PPM Support Services in the Manila Group Capability Centre. In this role, you will provide functional support to PPM users and the project community across ANZ geographies, manage key operational activities and support services for Project and Portfolio teams, and facilitate data quality management for the project and governance community. Additionally, you will manage a team of analysts to deliver PPM services to ANZ stakeholders as well as identify and implement process improvements to enhance user experience.

What will your day look like?
As a PPM Support Manager, you will:
- Manage a support team to ensure alignment with governance, policies, and processes.
- Support and collaborate with Divisional Portfolio teams, multi-stream, and governance groups by:
- Creating appropriate hierarchy structures.
- Providing analysis and administration to improve project data quality, ensuring variances, risks, issues, and value measures are recorded and reported.
- Guiding change control and checkpoint processes for consistent project documentation.
- Assist with demand management and resource allocation in the PPM Resource module.
- Work with PPM Systems and Change team to support PPM System updates and change management.
- Support timesheet and key billing activities and inquiries for project recoveries in Technology.
- Identify and initiate opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
- Provide PPM training sessions and incorporate feedback for overall training and development improvement.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- A background in PMO, Finance processes, reporting, risk and project management standards (ideally within ANZ)
- Demonstrated leadership ability in running fast-paced effective teams.
- Proficiency in stakeholder and issues management with good negotiating skills.
- Ability to ask the right questions (in meetings, calls, emails) and address/explore customer needs in driving support of PPM tool and project/portfolio requirements
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written (creating reports, presentations/packs, and presenting to senior leadership teams)
- A self-starter and autonomous (ability to work with minimal supervision and can work with high level direction)
- Moderate to high problem-solving complexity required
- Ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data, and create effective ways of sharing insights
- Desire to continuously learn and challenge the status quo
