About the Role

 


As a Journey Expert, you will optimise end-to-end customer journeys and improve the customer experience by devising innovative solutions, services, products or propositions. 


The Journey Expert (KH) will also be expected to

 

  • Bridge the valley between business and technology. 

  • Drive awareness of requirements across business units; identify substandard systems processes and improvement / simplification opportunities through evaluation of data

  • Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing recommendations that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels

  • Create and execute management plans for requests and initiatives that you are responsible for, with a focus on transparent and regular communication with stakeholder

  • Partner with stakeholders across business units (eg: collections, hardship, risk, governance, etc.) to gather requirements and acceptance criteria in a collaborative way, while communicating effectively and efficiently with stakeholders

  • Facilitate workshops and assess and document options to solve business problems

  • Evaluate, analyse, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, including securing approvals from relevant stakeholders

  • Author and update documentation in collaboration with Developers

  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with business and systems stakeholders, and respond to questions and concerns with supporting research and recommendations in collaboration with the Product Owner and Developers

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
 
  • proven experience as a Business Analyst with various systems and within technology systems
  • Intermediate proficiency with SQL and database management
  • Proven analytical abilities
  • Experience in generating process documentation and reports
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio
  • Proven ability to manage small-scale projects
  • Experience with data visualization
  • Proficiency in technical writing
  • Knowledge of Experian PowerCurve systems, ETL platforms, other large scale technical systems, or experience implementing new technology systems will be well regarded
