Mō te tūranga - About the role
A Personal Business Manager plays a key role in delivering an exceptional branch experience by understanding customer needs and providing tailored financial solutions across ANZ’s business banking, home loans, insurance, and investment products. The role focuses on building strong, trust-based relationships with customers, offering sound lending advice, and delivering outcomes that balance customer success with ANZ’s financial and risk objectives. By living the ANZ Values, the Personal Business Manager ensures high standards of service, responsible lending practices, and compliance, while contributing to a well-managed branch environment and achieving positive customer, business, and financial outcomes for ANZ.
Role Location: Queenstown or Wanaka or Cromwell or Alexandra
Role Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Standard 37.5 hrs

You will be responsible for:
- Understanding and meeting the needs of current and potential customers through quality conversations.
- Performing all duties effectively through maintaining an in-depth knowledge of Bank processes, relevant products, and services to
- Identify the needs of business customers effectively and confidently.
- Responsibly providing market leading service
- Working collaboratively with colleagues in branch and across other business units to maintain a broad awareness of other segments business to appropriately refer queries/requests.
- Taking responsibility to ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
- Demonstrating living the ANZ Values with customers and colleagues
