About the Role

 

As a Priority Teller, you will provide transactional support for Institutional customers whilst complying with bank's policies and procedures to ensure proper documentation and execution of all transactions in a timely and efficient manner.

Role Location: ANZ Corporate Centre Goroka Eastern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea       

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time 

What will your day look like?

 

  • Reduction in direct operating expenses and place a high focus on driving cost savings
  • Will take personal responsibility for delivering high quality customer interactions
  • Demonstrate ANZ service standards in all customer interactions.
  • Work efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions as quickly as possible while gaining knowledge and understanding of customers through listening carefully and questioning to identify potential needs.
  • Take ownership of customer complaints to create a positive experience for all customers
  • Ensure all documentation adherence and completeness i.e., Compliant with KYC policies and procedures for transaction processing, AML compliant etc
  • Ensure passes in audit rating by upholding risk and compliance.
  • Contribute to financial success of Institutional Banking through timely and accurate execution of customer instructions, including processing of withdrawals, and deposits, bank cheques and foreign exchange cash buy and sell, account transfers, Cheque Book Ordering and Voucher Image Processing 1st Pass

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Proven years of experience in client servicing and/or relevant client related working experience
  • Customer service-oriented with great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player who is self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Has keen attention to details
  • Ability to work well in competitive, fast paced environment with strong problem-solving skills and initiative
