About the Role
The Assistant Manager role is an integral part of our business service proposition. Teaming up a supportive and results driven Senior Relationship Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of customers across various Health modalities, to drive growth through acquisition, increasing share of wallet and referrals. Health modalities within the portfolio extends but not limited to General/Veterinary/Dental Practices, Medical Specialists, Pharmacy and Childcare.

Provide customer-focused solutions by understanding needs and offering tailored options. Manage end-to-end processes to ensure seamless fulfilment and positive outcomes. Build and maintain strong relationships to achieve mutually beneficial results. Collecting, profiling, and analysing data to translate into meaningful insights

What will your day look like?
As a Health Assistant Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work alongside an experienced Senior Relationship Manager in managing a portfolio of Health customers, with a customer-centric approach.
- Maintaining a well‐managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Maintaining control of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment process.
- Proactively developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of customer business and financial needs.
- Providing appropriate solutions towards account maintenance and simple customer requests.
- Collaborating with Product Partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customer needs.
- Exposure to deal structuring for both new and existing customers.
- Developing and maintaining a strong awareness of the relevant health industry, key trends, economic trends and market forces.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience in the banking industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Passion for the health industry and sound experience in financial services.
- Prior experience in developing strong relationships in a customer delivery/ customer experience role,
- Data analysis: Collecting, profiling, and analysing data to translate into meaningful insights to inform business decisions and deliver customer solutions.
- Customer solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/ or providing considered options, that meet those needs.
- Credit Analysis: The ability to assess a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors such as character, capital, capacity to repay, collateral (security) and conditions (the 5Cs of credit).
- Strong ‘can-do’ and ‘willingness to learn’ attitude.
- Ability to support credit approval activities with competency in credit assessment and management.
