About the Role

As an End-User Technology Engineer, you will provide business-critical end-user technology support across ANZ Europe SA and the ANZ Paris Branch, with opportunities to support other European locations including Frankfurt and London.


You will act as a trusted local technology lead and escalation point for senior leaders, market-facing users and Institutional teams. Working closely with regional Technology, Information Security, Risk and Operations teams, you will help deliver a secure, resilient and efficient technology environment while supporting regulatory, operational and business priorities.

What will your day look like?

As an End-User Technology Engineer, you will:

 

  • Provide senior onsite and remote end-user technology support to executives, market-facing users and Institutional teams
  • Act as the local technology escalation point, ensuring incidents, requests and technology issues are managed effectively and resolved in a timely manner
  • Partner with stakeholders across Technology, Information Security, Risk, Operations and the business to support technology services and control requirements
  • Support technology improvement initiatives including laptop upgrades, mobility enhancements, software deployments and information security uplift activities
  • Assist with the implementation of technology-related regulatory changes, ensuring compliance, audit readiness and effective documentation

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Demonstrated experience providing end-user technology support within a regulated financial services environment
  • Proven ability to support senior executives, market-facing users and business-critical operations
  • Strong knowledge of desktop support, mobile technologies, collaboration tools, ServiceNow, ITIL practices and incident management processes
  • Experience supporting financial markets technologies such as IPC Trader Phone System, Wallstreet, Murex or similar platforms
  • Experience managing patch deployment, Active Directory, access management and desktop technology controls
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in both English and French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience supporting multiple European locations or legal entities
  • Understanding of technology risk, operational resilience and information security frameworks within banking
  • Experience supporting regulatory, audit or control-related initiatives
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence and related technology service management tools
  • Experience working across international time zones and supporting geographically dispersed stakeholders
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Technology or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Industry certifications in end user technology, desktop engineering, networking, cloud collaboration tools, cyber security or IT service management would be advantageous.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is Euros 63,200 to 71,100 annual.

This range is determined by the job, location and level of expertise required for this specific role. The final salary offered will consider your capabilities, skills and knowledge.
