About the Role
ANZ is establishing a new EU banking subsidiary in Paris to support our European growth strategy. This new entity will provide EU clients with access to ANZ’s international markets, trade, and corporate finance capabilities, operating alongside our existing offices in London, Paris, and Frankfurt.
We are seeking an experienced Prudential & Regulatory Reporting candidate who wants to expand their remit to include treasury related monitoring and governance within a growing bank. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in prudential regulation, capital and liquidity management, or in regulatory reporting who is looking to broaden their exposure while helping build a new bank from the ground up.
You will be supported by a production team based in Manila, enabling you to focus on oversight, review, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory interaction. The role focuses on prudential insight, metrics, reporting quality, and governance.

What will your day look like?
Prudential Oversight & Capital/Liquidity Monitoring
- Lead oversight of capital, liquidity, leverage, and funding concentration metrics, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Coordinate the ICAAP, ILAAP, and the Recovery Plan, including capital and liquidity assessments and scenario analysis.
- Provide prudential insights to senior stakeholders, including ALCO reporting, and ensure high quality deliverables.
Regulatory Reporting Leadership
- Responsibility for regulatory reporting submissions to the ACPR.
- Review, challenge, and approve prudential and regulatory reporting outputs.
- Oversee the maintenance of regulatory reporting documentation, registers, governance logs, and audit evidence.
Policy & Governance Frameworks
- Maintain and periodically update prudential and treasury‑related policies.
- Strengthen reporting controls, documentation standards, and internal procedures.
Regulatory Engagement
- Act as a primary point of contact for the ACPR on prudential and regulatory reporting queries.
- Assess regulatory changes, particularly under Basel & CRR/CRD, and lead implementation of required updates.
Building a New Bank
- Shape the new prudential reporting processes and ensure these frameworks are robust from day one.
- Support cross‑functional initiatives as needed in a startup environment.
- Collaborate across Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Group functions in Europe, Asia and Australia.
What will you bring?
We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented professional with a strong foundation in prudential or regulatory reporting, coupled with the curiosity and flexibility needed to operate in a fast‑growing, newly established banking environment.
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience in prudential reporting, regulatory reporting, or capital/liquidity monitoring.
- Strong understanding of Basel and CRR/CRD frameworks.
- Experience within banking, treasury, finance, or regulatory reporting environments. Experience with COREP reporting is ad
- Experience engaging with regulators, particularly the ACPR, is advantageous.
- Prior exposure to bank setup activities, regulatory change programmes, or new entity builds.
- Ability to interpret prudential metrics and communicate insights clearly.
- Strong analytical and review skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and challenge constructively.
- Willingness to lean into broader tasks at times, consistent with a startup bank environment.
- French language capability is desirable, given the need for regulatory interaction.
- A professional qualification, such as Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst or similar, is highly desirable.
