About the Role
As Dealer, FX Sales, you are responsible in managing and overseeing the delivery of FX products to a set of strategic and transactional clients. You will provide a professional, high-quality service to ANZ’s customers by offering a range of vanilla and derivative FX products and services, whilst remaining within agreed risk, credit, legal and operational limits. As the first point of call for the customer, you will be responsible for delivering a superior customer experience and achieving continuous revenue growth. In addition, you will assist in the management of Tonga's funding and liquidity requirements in adherence to internal & external benchmarks.

What will your day look like?
- Meet agreed individual revenue and turnover targets through proactive servicing of the Institutional and Commercial onshore and offshore customer base, through the full and appropriate use of the Bank’s range of FX products.
- Actively monitor and manage nostro and settlement accounts, ensuring the Bank's funding and liquidity profile adheres to agreed internal policy.
- Develop new business and maintain existing customer relationships via the delivery of an efficient and accurate FX service
- Develop and maintaining internal product partner relationships and networks
- Ensure ANZ's funding and liquidity relationships are maintained
- Efficient handling of administrative tasks such as deals processing and report writing and any other tasks required to ensure the efficient operation of the department
- Foster collaboration and trust within the team
- Identify and implement improvements in the business model, product offerings and operational processes
- Ensure all financial and non-financial risk metrics, processes and practices are undertaken in accordance to all Bank & Regulartory guidelines
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- A strong understanding of the financial business environment and needs of the Banks FX customer base, demonstrated via a strong sales and customer relationship management ability.
- Relevant experience in a Markets related role.
- A strong understanding of balance sheet risk management requirements and practices.
- A good understanding of domestic and global macro-economic framework as they affect foreign exchange and interest rate markets, domestic and international monetary and fiscal policy, interest rates and interest rate differentials, liquidity issues.
- Ability to work within a high-performance culture and display initiative, with a demonstrated ability to manage time and priorities.
- Ability to build and sustain professional customer and peer relationships via a high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
