Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a lead KTA Developer in our Tech Personal & Funds team, you’ll play a key role in driving the development and uplift of our Total Agility (KTA) platform. The role is central to our transition from high-cost managed services to a sustainable, in-house capability model. You will lead a hybrid team of onshore and offshore developers, ensuring delivery excellence across critical workflows in the business

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like
As a Software Engineer, you will;
- Lead the design, and implementation of complex KTA solutions, including case management, workflow automation, and system integrations.
- Collaborate with BPA Tech Lead and Architecture, to design solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a distributed team of KTA developers (onshore and offshore).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, BAs, testers, and SMEs to translate requirements into scalable KTA solutions.
- Oversee code quality, compliance, and adherence to ANZ’s delivery and change management frameworks.
- Drive knowledge retention and capability uplift across the BPA team.
- Manage vendor transition and knowledge transfer from Fuji Business Innovation developers.
- Ensure platform alignment with ANZ’s strategic automation roadmap and compliance standards.
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Many years of hands-on experience with Total Agility (KTA), including case management, document capture, and workflow automation.
- Proven experience leading development teams, including offshore delivery models.
- Strong background in .NET (C#, ASP.NET), SQL Server, REST APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience with Kofax Insight, Kofax RPA, and enterprise-grade automation solutions.
- Deep understanding of agile delivery practices, sprint planning, and DevOps pipelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Nice to have Total Agility Certification.
- Any experience in financial services or regulated industries would be nice.
- Familiarity with ANZ’s BPA delivery squads and workflows is a plus.
