Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like?

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, your day-to-day will include: 

• Partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs, gathering requirements, and translating them into data and reporting solutions. 
• Building and enhancing product exception reports ensuring they are accurate, scalable, reusable, and well governed. 
• Supporting team delivery through peer reviews, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving. 
• Ensuring reporting and analytics solutions meet enterprise and regulatory standards, applying strong quality assurance practices and aligning with ANZ's Information & Insights strategy, policies, and compliance requirements. 

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, ideally, you’ll bring: 

• Experience delivering data, reporting, or business intelligence solutions in a banking, financial services, or similar data-driven environment.  
• Strong technical skills in SAS, SQL, or similar tools, with the ability to extract, analyse, and automate data and reporting processes.  
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for producing accurate, high-quality data and reporting outcomes.  
• Experience developing, maintaining, and improving reporting or business intelligence solutions that support business decision-making.  
• A collaborative approach, with experience in testing, peer reviews, and quality assurance to ensure robust and reliable reporting solutions.  
• A growth mindset, strong sense of ownership, and a desire to continuously learn, share ideas, and drive improvements.
