Ko Mātou – About Us
Kia Hanga I Te Ao, E Ora Ai, E Tupu Ai, Te Tangata Me Te Kainga. At ANZ, we’re shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.
Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Senior Project Manager in our Technology Delivery Practice, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading data management uplift initiatives across ANZ New Zealand. You’ll provide senior level planning, management, and oversight to ensure projects are aligned with strategic priorities and delivered successfully across the business. Your leadership will bring structure and clarity to multidisciplined teams, enabling them to deliver data management solutions that streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
This role will see you project managing delivery of new capabilities and workload for a newly implemented Operational Reporting Platform. You will be leading the delivery of further capabilities enabling scale and usability of the platform, whilst coordinating these deliverables within a large program release cadence, ensuring compliance and business requirements are met.
You will ideally have experience with CICD development and deployment methodologies using GitHub, Codefresh and Jira. The reporting platform technologies are AWS S3, Glue, Event Bridge, Athena and Quick suite. The current delivery team is based offshore, so experience in managing remote and global teams is preferred. You will create an environment where teams can focus, resolve issues early and move work forward with purpose. If you enjoy hands on problem solving, coordinating across domains and guiding work from definition through to delivery, you will thrive here.
You will engage with stakeholders at all levels to translate business needs into delivery outcomes, balancing immediate priorities with long term strategy. It is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of ANZ’s technology landscape by driving seamless, secure, scalable data and integration solutions for a leading financial institution. Your delivery leadership will help ensure these solutions land cleanly across the business and support our technology operations in meaningful, tangible ways.
