As a Release Lead for the Customer & Banker Platforms, you’ll be at the centre of that momentum, orchestrating smooth, predictable, high‑quality releases that keep our platforms performing at their best.
You’ll be the person who brings clarity to complexity: connecting squads, shining a light on risks early, keeping delivery moving at pace, and making sure every release lands safely and with confidence. You’ll shape the release journey from planning through to deployment, ensuring the right people are aligned, informed, and ready — every time.
This is a role where your calm leadership, sharp judgement, and knack for joining the dots will genuinely make a difference. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, Release Leads, and stakeholders across the bank, fostering trust and transparency while championing continuous improvement in how we deliver change.

This role is accountable for:
- Work with scrum teams to deliver initiatives and features with regular, quality releases
- Track change requests and release implementations, keeping everyone informed
- Ensure change and release policies are followed across all environments
- Champion continuous improvement in delivery practices
- Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives
- Coordinate schedules, resources, equipment, and information for releases
- Monitor progress and resolve issues with care and pace
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Managers, and Product Owners to remove blockers
- Co‑ordinate and administer release rotations with other Release Leads, sharing knowledge across teams

To be successful in this role you will ideally have the:
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Proven Release Lead or Project Management experience, ideally in agile environments
- Expertise in release and change management processes
- Adaptability to changing requirements and environments
- Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams to completion
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when required for release deployments and changes
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong work ethic, integrity and ability to work independently
