Mō te tūranga - About the role
We’re looking for Product Analytics Managers to join our Product Forensics team, focused on using data-driven insights to ensure our products operate as intended, meet Terms and Conditions, and deliver on our customer promise. In this role, you’ll apply your analytical expertise to proactively build assurance across a range of banking products, including Home Loans, Business Lending, Deposits, and Consumer Finance.
You’ll work closely with Product Managers and a broad group of stakeholders to design and deliver end-to-end product forensics pipelines across areas such as rates, fees, propositions, and packages. This includes managing stakeholders across teams like Risk, Customer Resolution, Products and Technology, while turning data into meaningful business insights.
You’ll be part of a supportive team with a strong culture of continuous improvement, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Product Forensics.

As a Product Analytics Manager - Forensics, you'll be supporting us with smarter product design, ongoing monitoring and reducing risk. Your day-to-day will include:
- Use data-driven insights to ensure banking products operate as intended, meet Terms & Conditions, and deliver on our customer promise
- Build and deliver end-to-end product forensics pipelines across rates, fees, propositions, and packages
- Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders (Risk, Customer Resolution, Products, Technology) to manage delivery and drive outcomes
- Generate actionable business insights while contributing to a supportive, continuously improving team shaping the future of Product Forensics
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong analytical capability with experience using tools and languages such as SQL, Teradata, KNIME, or Python to interrogate and interpret data.
- Highly detail-oriented, with a deep understanding of banking products (Home Loans, Business Lending, Deposits), including interest calculations and pricing structures.
- A natural curiosity and passion for data, with the ability to quickly dissect complex systems and large datasets to uncover meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, able to clearly translate detailed and complex analysis into practical, actionable recommendations.
- Experience in data visualisation (Power BI, Tableau), with a focus on presenting insights in a clear, accurate, and insightful way.
- A proactive and methodical approach, combining project management and business analysis skills with a continuous focus on accuracy, improvement, and learning new analytical tools and technologies.
