Join the Payment Technology Domain, where your work will help ensure the stability and performance of critical applications that support seamless customer transactions. These platforms are central to business operations, and your role will focus on maintaining their health, availability and scalability. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that values reliability, responsiveness and thoughtful improvement.
In this role, you will monitor and troubleshoot payment applications, manage incidents through to resolution and support out-of-hours service continuity. You’ll coordinate and deploy changes in a GCP environment, working closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption. This is a role that supports continuous enhancement and shared responsibility, contributing to a resilient and customer-focused service experience.

Hours: Standard, with some contributions to a 24/7 roster

You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the stability and health of payment platforms and applications to ensure reliable service delivery
- Monitoring system performance, identifying issues and resolving them to maintain high availability
- Participating in on-call support rotations, managing incidents with care and urgency through to resolution
- Coordinating and deploying changes in a GCP environment, ensuring smooth and safe transitions
- Collaborating with delivery teams to manage and action change requests
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts that enhance performance, scalability and resilience
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To thrive and excel in this role, you should ideally possess the following:
- Strong documentation and communication skills to support clear and consistent collaboration
- Foundational understanding of Google Cloud Platform, APIs and transaction flows
- Experience with monitoring solutions such as Dynatrace, Splunk and and incident management processes
- Basic proficiency in Linux/Unix command-line operations and scripting.
- Familiarity with Java (ability to read and understand code, basic debugging) and perform log analysis
- A genuine interest in technology and a working knowledge of payment systems and related technologies
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Understanding of development tooling including IDEs, Git and CI/CD pipelines like CodeFresh
- Exposure to DevOps practices and automation tools
- Experience supporting or improving distributed or cloud-native systems
