About the Role

The NY Front Office & Client Support (FO&CS) team plays an essential role in managing risk for the organization and is critical in delivering value to our clients. FO&CS is responsible overseeing the accurate and timely risk capture and post trade support of all transactions associated with the markets business, identifying and mitigating financial, reputational, regulatory and operational risk, developing strong relationships with the business and our clients and partnering with technology to fully leverage our systematic capabilities.  FO&CS is a global team of innovative and driven professionals interacting with all departments of the business to achieve the best possible results and highest level of service.

 

This role is a truly global function with regional counterparts in Asia, Europe and Americas and is an integral part of the FO&CS team and through collaboration and team work will be responsible for contributing to the broader team deliverables.

What will your day look like?

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

  • Managing the organizations intraday and end of day funding requirements including real-time positions at agent banks.
  • Accurate forecasting, funding and analysis for daily currency and branch liquidity requirements.
  • Leveraging and developing daily and monthly analytics for data driven decision making and identification of opportunities for improvement.
  • Developing relationships with the business and key stakeholders to deliver core funding and front office support and deliverables.
  • Understanding of the full FO&CS and post trade functions to ensure optimum process and cost effectiveness of funding for the organization.
  • Responding to various requests from audit, regulators and clients working collaboratively across business units to collect and organize information and evidence.
  • Demonstrating risk and control ownership, mitigation and clear understanding of the escalation framework.

What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following –

 

  • Strong understanding of liquidity management and international banking products, especially FX, FI, Rates, Credit and Money Markets with experience working closely with Sales and Trading desks.
  • Strong Client Service and Stakeholder Management skills.  Ability to work collaboratively, influence people and build strong relationships across business units and regions.
  • Demonstrate ambitious and intellectual curiosity and pro-active problem solving.  Confidence in analytical capability for data driven decision making.
  • Intermediate to Advanced use of MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Python and other analytical tools preferred. 
  • Extremely well-organized, self-starter who can manage a range of competing priorities and projects. Effective and timely execution of deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong risk mindset with strong controls and process improvement experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is US$120,000 – 145,000 annual

 

This range is determined by the job, location and level of expertise required for this specific role.  The final salary offered will consider your capabilities, skills and knowledge.
