About the Role
Reporting to Head of Food, Beverage and Agribusiness USA, you will cover and expand the relationships with large American MNC clients in the Food Beverage & Agribusiness (“FB&A”) sectors. This role will support the FB&A growth strategy to deliver high returning revenue into ANZ’s home markets and international network.
Your key day-to-day activities will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities in line with strategy and delivering sales targets across the portfolio and targeting new-to-bank (“NTB”) names.
To be successful in this role, the incumbent requires a combination of client focused relationship management, credit and effective structuring skills, superior execution, backed by integrity and a commitment to provide first class coverage, products and services to our clients.

What will your day look like?
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Develop strategic end-to-end client relationships and to capture meaningful banking wallet share, maximising returns from client relationships.
- Supporting on the business growth and contributing to the origination and execution of deals.
- Achievement of financial performance in line with targets as agreed.
- Develop clear and detailed understanding of customers including working with Insights team and other product partners, to identify new opportunities and deepening & expanding the existing relationships.
- Identify new prospects together with Risk, Insights and product partners to establish strategies in bringing in new customers in line with the bank’s strategy.
- Working closely with the ANZ Network globally, drive business opportunities, share best practice and share insight of client strategies across a diverse and complex client group.
- Close liaison with Research & Analysis/Risk for accurate and current credit exposure and risk management in line with credit approvals policy and procedures.
- Ensure quality of portfolio through sound credit assessment, lending decisions and accurate account management.
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following –
- Extensive client facing role within Corporate / Institutional Banking / Relationship Management.
- Solid credit analysis skills. Financial modelling skills, high level computer literacy (Excel/Word/PowerPoint etc).
- Extensive knowledge in banking products and structures, loans, trade finance and global markets.
- Excellent written, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills as well as attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong teamwork orientation essential.
- Highly advanced collaboration, relationship, analytical, influencing, and communication skills. Ability to present in a concise format.
- Tertiary qualified. Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, Economics or Law an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is US$210,000 – 270,000 annual.
This range is determined by the job, location and level of expertise required for this specific role. The final salary offered will consider your capabilities, skills and knowledge.
