About the Role

 

As an Assistant Manager - Property & Central Services you will be responsible to assist in managing the property, premises, building, workplace strategy and central services tasks for the USA Branch. Primary responsibilities include administration of facilities functions, such as property and premises management, building services, leasing, and insurance. This role also involves some supplier management of external contractors, procurement tasks, and outsourcing. Additionally, accounts management and accounts payable (NOSTRO & SUSPENSE) tasks fall under this broader purview. Lastly, supervision of reporting, building service quality standards, and the establishment of process and cost efficiencies are also part of the responsibilities.

What will your day look like?

 

As an Assistant Manager - Property & Central Services you will;

 

  • Manage Landlord interactions / lease payments

  • Assist in managing an efficient Branch operating model for day-to-day accounts payable processes

  • Contractor Management - General Property, Security, External Procurement responsibilities

  • Manage an efficient operating model for day-to-day Front & Back Office processes across the Branch

  • Engage with external 3rd Party Property Brokers, Architects, Solicitor firms, Workplace Strategy teams as required

  • Monitor downstream GCC processing and resolve billing issues promptly to maintain TLM account quality

  • Ensure compliance with Non-Financial Risk frameworks

  • Demonstrated ability to assess risk independently, and escalate issues or concerns as / when necessary

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Solid previous experience in office management function (including premises and facilities oversight) for large financial services organizations

  • Highly motivated and flexible, with a proven ability to deliver in a challenging and dynamic environment

  • Ability to assist with workplace strategy, property project initiatives         

  • Proactive, easily adaptable, and able to embrace change

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade, influence and build rapport with key Stakeholders           

  • Commitment to ensuring system processing controls are maintained to a high standard

Compensation

 

The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000

 

This range is determined by the job, location and level of expertise required for this specific role.  The final salary offered will consider your capabilities, skills and knowledge.
