About the Role
The Senior Manager Front Office Support role reports to the Head of Front Office Support and is responsible for ensuring a timely, efficient, effective and well-control environment for the delivery of front office, customer and business support services for the Mumbai Markets business.
As the Senior Manager, Front Office Support, you will develop and embed a collaborative team culture and will manage a team of 3 all located onshore in Mumbai.
Functionally, the team managed by you will cover aspects of:
- Front Office Support
- Funding Support
- Client Services
- Trade Control and Brokerage Services
- Reporting related to local regulatory requirements
You will be tasked in developing strong customer and front office relationships, working closely with all parties to provide end-to-end support for the business.
Key stakeholders for this role include Mumbai local management and enablement partners.

What will your day look like?
As a Senior Manager, Front Office Support, you will be responsible with the following:
- Controllable costs within budget and compliance with group expenditure policies
- Working with the Mumbai Markets Leadership, Desk Heads and other enablement functions to minimise losses related to operational and customer incidences
- Delivery of effective, efficient and well managed customer and business services for the Mumbai Markets business and working with Desk Heads to ensure trade life cycle needs are well met
- Provision of trusted strategic advice to desk heads and Head of FOS to enable optimal life cycle processes and booking models to deliver on superior customer experience
- Keep up to date with industry best practices in terms of process and infrastructure innovation to deliver continuous improvement and strategic enhancements to front office, customer and business support services
- Maintain effective and well-managed infrastructure and processes to deliver front office, customer and business support services to the business, including identification of thematic risks and blockages
- Builds relationships with and influences Mumbai Markets LT and other Business partners and Risk functions to facilitate/accelerate execution and promote improved collaboration across the business/division/Group.
- Support the Mumbai Markets, Global FOBS initiatives and having a keen oversight and drive to reduce and manage Non-Financial Risk (NFR) elements to the business.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Extensive experience and knowledge of the Financial Markets for India and the environment that ANZ Markets operates in with demonstrated understanding of products, sales and trading
- Extensive experience and knowledge of governance, compliance, regulation and how to operationalise regulatory
- requirements for a sound control environment
- Highly developed and proven capability for risk focused, understanding and active management of non-financial risk elements.
- Sets goals and delivers results with proven experience in leading self and others when delivering large scale change, with strong customer focus and ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders at all seniority levels
- Demonstrated ability to lead culture, maturity of approach, strength of resilience and ability to lead through ambiguity
- Sets and communicates a clear and compelling vision with demonstrated ANZ leadership competencies including ability to manage and delivering change, deliver results, exercise sound judgement, broaden perspective, build relationships (internal and external), develop self and others to lead and empower
