The Head of Talent & Culture, India Branch and UAE is critical to making this happen. As a senior member of the India Branch and UAE Leadership Teams and the International Talent and Culture (T&C) team, this role is responsible for all people aspects of bringing our Institutional and T&C strategy to life across our India Branch and UAE businesses.

What will your day look like?
As a Head of Talent & Culture, India you will
-
Partner with the Country Heads and local leadership teams across India Branch and UAE, providing expertise and support for Talent and Culture programs and initiatives including talent and succession planning, capability building.

Be a strong coach to the Country Heads and Executive Leadership teams and supporting T&C Operations and systems.

Be a key connector across ANZ International and the broader Group, partnering with relevant T&C and business teams to deliver, sharing information and leveraging initiatives into India Branch and UAE, as appropriate.

Focus on training and developing your own team in both countries, supporting our people to grow their skills, experience and network connectivity.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

The ability to formulate and execute on a Talent & Culture strategy for the India Branch and UAE businesses which is aligned with key business and Group T&C priorities.

Strong knowledge of local regulatory environment and obligations and issues relating to People Risk.
-
Great organisational skills and strong execution focus, with capabilities in driving efficient and effective delivery of country people initiatives.
-
Skilled and effective change agent with good business acumen.
-
Strong skills in collaboration, relationship management and influencing of stakeholders across the network including senior management, with a willingness and ability to challenge effectively as needed.

Ability to be a trusted advisor, coach and confidant to senior stakeholders on a broad range of people-related issues, with an empathetic and pragmatic approach, grounded in our Values and Behaviours.

Ability to lead and oversee delivery of all local operational processes across the employee lifecycle, including payroll, taxation and regulatory compliance, in partnership with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to work in a multinational environment with experience operating with stakeholders across multiple geographies and leveraging support from relevant Employee Experience Tribes including Talent Acquisition and Mobility, Employee Relations, Reward & Pay, etc.

Strong coach and people leader, focused on helping your teams to develop skills and confidence to take on broader opportunities.
