The Enterprise Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Governance team undertakes governance and oversight activities of the enterprise-wide aggregate Non-Financial Risk profile to the Group Manager Operational Risk, OREC and Board Risk Committee (BRC), including insights and opinions on how well ANZ is effectively managing Non-Financial Risk within risk appetite and action required to deliver tangible and sustainable uplift.
These roles will be leaders in the Enterprise Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Governance team and work with a broad range of Senior Leaders and Stakeholders across the Business, Line 1 and Line 2. You will champion a strong governance and strengthened risk culture to ensure business activities remain resilient and compliant to enable the bank to deliver strong, sustainable outcomes for customers and communities while managing risk with discipline and integrity.

What will your day look like?
- Drive and undertake governance and oversight activities of the enterprise-wide aggregate Non-Financial Risk profile including Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) metrics and Enterprise Indicators, data-informed analysis and actionable risk insights and opinions in line with enterprise Risk Management Standards and APRA Prudential Standard CPS220
- Prepare regular NFR governance reporting for the Group Manager Operational Risk to OREC and BRC including NFR Insights and MRO Opinions
- Design, implement and continuously enhance NFR governance initiatives, processes and reporting across the enterprise.
- Build trusted relationships with Senior Stakeholders across Business, Risk, Compliance and Assurance functions
- Lead, coach and develop members of the NFR Governance team, fostering an inclusive and high-accountability culture
What will you bring?
- 10+ years’ experience as a Non-Financial Risk practitioner including application of frameworks and systems
- Significant experience in Non-Financial Risk governance or related disciplines within a large, complex financial services environment
- Proven experience in writing reports to senior risk governance committees
- Strong data-analytical skillset
- Demonstrates curiosity and ability to think differently to deliver in the most effective and efficient manner
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Proven ability to work with a broach range of stakeholders across the organisation
- Demonstrated experience influencing and partnering with senior executives to drive effective risk management practices and outcomes
- Excellent written, communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
