The purpose of APRA Remediation Tribe is to address multiple issues that make it difficult to run the Business Lending part of ANZ Bank well, and to ultimately make great business lending experiences possible for our business customers. Our aim is to provide our customers with simple, industry-leading business lending solutions, quickly, reliably and cost-effectively that support great outcomes for all our stakeholders. One of the key programs of work within the tribe is the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program that seeks to a) single view of customer b) single platform c) lead generation and management d) uplift existing business and retail lending leads  management processes and in parallel build new ones that encompasses systems and data including migrating data from the old to the shiny new.

What will your day look like

  • Develop solution data models and requirements for service entry and exit points to support the ETE data requirements of the customer relationship process i.e., storing, managing, maintaining leads from a data perspective.  
  • Source and migrate data from a variety of platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata) to combine, synthesise and analyse to generate insights of current state processes and solutions
  • Work with the Engineering team to support the development of the solution
  • Work through the requirements / design for the migration of data from the existing to future solution
  • Understand the end-to-end analytics journey and enhance it by pushing new data and designing / delivering insights
  • Make sound and timely decisions and ability to re-prioritise work in response to identified risks
  • Passionate and energetic, able to balance hard work with fun
  • Adopt the agile approach to deliver with data processes & scripts being well documented, standardised, scalable & repeatable if required
  • Deliver the fit-for-purpose and high-quality data to support group & divisional projects within required deadline.
  • Deliver through collaboration with other teams within commercial business tribe
  • Ensure adherence to ANZ policies, processes, and external regulatory and legislative requirements

What will you bring?

  • Proficiency with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation and presentation (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, QlikView / Qlik sense, Kafka)
  • Strong knowledge in ETL development, at least one solid experience with ETL tools, e.g., SSIS, DataStage, Informatica etc.
  • Data Mapping, Data Modelling Techniques & Data Wrangling
  • Proficient Teradata, Oracle or SQL Server programming skills, analyzing and manipulating the data.
  • Self-motivated and proven record of delivery under the pressure
  • Demonstrated experience of working on Salesforce implementation is a plus
  • Solid experience within data migration and warehouse concept and development, banking and consulting industry experience are a plus. 
  • Experience in Python/Cloud/Data science/Clod based technology (AWS, GCP etc.) is preferred
  • Proven ability to work with large data sets (10’s of TB)
  • A growth mindset and desire to continually learn and share new techniques and ideas
