About the Role
As part of our mission to optimise workforce planning and insights, we are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded Workforce Analyst to join our team.
Being part of the Workforce & Operations team in ANZ Plus, your role as a Workforce Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in transforming workforce data into actionable insights. Your expertise in handling complex data, as well as analytical acumen will be instrumental in creating intuitive and impactful workforce reports that guide decision making on workforce and resourcing across ANZ Plus.
This role sits in the Workforce and Operations stream and will give you skills relevant to future roles in People Analytics, Finance, Operations and Delivery.

What could your day look like?
Your day will typically revolve around bringing together data into a digestible format to help drive actionable insights and decision making including:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive, user-friendly workforce reports and dashboards
- Use advanced Excel functions to manipulate, clean, and analyse large datasets
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all workforce analytics
- Create intuitive dashboards to help stakeholders better understand data trends and insights
- Analyse workforce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored insights
- Present findings in clear, concise formats to support strategic workforce planning
- Continuously improve reporting processes and tools for efficiency and effectiveness.
What's in your toolkit?
To succeed in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Highly proficient in Excel: Advanced Excel skills are essential for this role – (data cleaning & transformation, lookups, pivot tables, logic formulas)
- Analytically Minded: You have demonstrated experience in a reporting analyst and/or data analyst role and have a proven track record of converting raw data into meaningful insights
- Detail-Oriented: Data accuracy and precision are your trademark
- Experience with Data Visualisation tools: Having experience with tools such as Tableau (or similar) is desirable
- Problem-Solver: You approach challenges with curiosity and a solutions-focused mindset
- Self-Motivated: You can manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results independently.
