About the Role

As the Governance & Reporting, Systems & Frameworks Manager in our Whistleblower Program Team in Group Compliance, you’ll liaise with whistleblowers (reporters) and oversee initial triage of reports, support management of global Whistleblower Program’s legal, governance, policy and operational frameworks and systems; drive continuous improvements in reporting and information sharing; lead, develop and maintain role specific and staff training, program promotion and awareness activities, Group and Program initiatives, enhancements, and maintenance. and research best practice and reg requirements and drive continuous improvements.

What will your day look like?

As a Whistleblower Program Adviser – Governance & Reporting, Systems & Frameworks Manager, you are accountable for:

  • Governance, Systems and Frameworks: Assist the Program Lead with managing the global Whistleblower Program’s legal, governance, policy and operational frameworks (NFR L2 RTO (assisting RTO delegate), L1 Control Owner (control/ATC monitoring and reporting) & L1 Risk Owner & WB frameworks) and systems (including system administration of new whistleblower intake and case management and reporting system)
  • Effective and timely case management: Effective and timely management of whistleblower cases in accordance with ANZ’s whistleblower policy, processes, and procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Reporting: Drive continuous improvements in reporting and information sharing – identifying key learnings, themes and emerging risks for internal stakeholders, responding to external stakeholder data requests, and ensuring data quality
  • Comms: Drive awareness and trust building comms and initiatives, incl through networks and relationships with key stakeholders
  • Training: Lead, develop and maintain role specific and staff training
  • Best practice: Research best practice and reg requirements and drive continuous improvements
  • Actively contribute to and foster the development of a safe and effective speak up compliance and risk culture to maximise opportunities to raise awareness of whistleblower policies, practices, and procedures within ANZ
  • Role model compliance behaviours and at all times, upholding ANZ’s values, code of conduct, and policies.

What will you bring?

  • Knowledge of whistleblower or employment laws, processes, or procedures
  • Legal, investigation or related experience in a relevant field
  • Exposure to and liaison with senior executives
  • Sound appreciation of non financial risk
