Test Lead, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
About Us
At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.
About the Role
As the Test Strategy & Execution Lead in Deposits & Payments, you will be instrumental in strengthening ANZ’s enterprise document management strategy - uplifting capability, improving future‑state processes, and enhancing how the bank manages and surfaces critical documents. As part of this broader objective, you will also play a critical role in the Suncorp Migration program by driving end‑to‑end delivery, shaping the implementation approach, preparing impacted teams, and ensuring migrated Suncorp documents are seamlessly accessible for customers and staff from Day 1.
You will own the end‑to‑end testing approach, including strategy, planning, test case design and execution, defect triage, and ensuring full functional and non‑functional coverage. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to validate outcomes, protect quality, and report on progress, risks, and defects to support a smooth migration and strong Day 1. You will also contribute PMO support across planning, releases, tech coordination, and reporting to the program’s Testing pillar.
Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.

- Coordinate with the program Testing team, initiatives, stakeholders, and vendors to align test planning, environment readiness, data preparation, and execution to release timelines.

- Apply technical understanding to interpret solution architecture, identify integration points and system behaviours, and convert them into integration, regression, and end‑to‑end scenarios.
- Support the Initiative Lead in coordinating the team and working groups, ensuring alignment to priorities and contributing to a positive, high‑performance culture.
