About the role

In this role, your mission is to help design a modern digital cloud native Identity and access management platform to support digital channels and to enable safe and secure participation in digital trust ecosystems. 


The purpose of this role is to employ your broad knowledge to design and implement a secure and user-friendly system for managing customer identities and access to digital services. Help shape our CIAM technology landscape so that transformation program is able to deliver secure and scalable customer propositions deployed across cloud, data centre and SaaS landscape. Your work will require you to enable agile teams to work autonomously and self govern where possible as well as manage solution design across a particular business capability.

What will your day look like

  • Understand business strategy and architecture needs, define innovative & sustainable solution designs that enable incremental and continuous delivery of business value through Epics to Features

  • Design solution that are aligned to open standards, organisation security, risk profile and best practices

  • Use your understanding of the end to end architecture to design solutions that leverage existing business services where possible

  • SME and Strong advocate to uplift overall security, authorisation and access controls

  • Work with delivery squads ensuring the adherence to the solution design standards while a acting as a mentor to ensure consistent approaches to use of design patterns and standards are adopted

What will you bring?

  • Identity Architecture experience in designing and developing CIAM solution for enterprise

  • Previous exposure to modern IDAM products – ForgeRock, Ping, Okta/AuthO

  • Good exposure and working knowledge of APIs/integration, security and SaaS solutions

  • Setup Frameworks, Biometrics Authentication, Multifactor Authentication

  • Identity onboarding and proofing – KYC and lifecycle management

  • Working knowledge of public cloud offerings and architecture, AWS or GCP

  • Prior exposure to CDR Open Banking, federation and data sharing ecosystems is preferred

  • Strong communicator and problem solver with understanding to translate business needs into commercially viable solution designs that can be implemented by the delivery teams

  • Big picture thinker and a willingness to accept and adapt ideas from various sources to ensure a holistic approach

  • Ability to understand and balance between technical features and compliance requirements

  • Experienced identity engineers looking to take the next step in their career and do solution design are encouraged to apply
