About the Role

As a Talent Sourcer and key member of our recruitment team, you will play a crucial role in supporting ANZ's hiring efforts by proactively approaching and hiring quality retail lending managers across our priority regions.  You will collaborate with ANZ’s retail marketing team and retail leaders to establish a visible hiring presence in the market.

Role Location:  Melbourne, VIC

 

What will your day look like?


This role is accountable for:

 

  • Attracting and engaging high quality passive lending managers, by understanding what drives and motivates them, and being able to position the unique selling points of joining ANZ.

  • Headhunting lending manager candidates via market mapping, networking, pro-active approaches with a focus on metro regions nationally

  • Working with the retail marketing team to build a visible market hiring presence, across LinkedIn and other appropriate channels

  • Meeting with relevant new joiners and collecting market intel and referrals

  • Assessing candidates against ANZ-fit and work fit, and understanding their push-pull factors, motivation and remuneration.

  • Introducing relevant candidates to senior leaders and completing placements.

  • Building and sharing market knowledge, and using this to:

  • Provide monthly market intelligence updates to ANZ’s senior leaders; and

  • Using the insights to improve our hiring decisions.

  • Partnering with stakeholders to achieve successful recruitment outcomes.

  • Maintaining data integrity through accurate and up to date records and robust data governance.

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Extensive track record in talent acquisition.

  • Deep domain knowledge of recruitment.

  • Strong candidate management skills, with previous experience attracting passive candidates.

  • Understanding of the lending talent landscape, or a strong interest to learn this space.

  • Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records.
