About the Role
As the Head of Trade & Supply Chain Product Development & Change, you will lead the execution of ANZ's Trade & Supply Chain product strategy, translating strategic priorities into disciplined delivery across product development, change implementation and product assurance. You will oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring products are customer-focused, commercially effective and aligned to ANZ's Product Management framework and regulatory obligations.You will lead complex regulatory, financial crime, risk, and commercial initiatives across multiple markets, embedding robust governance, AML/CTF and sanctions controls throughout the product value chain and lifecylce. Partnering closely with Product Owners, Channel, Technology, Operations, Risk and Frontline teams, you will drive execution excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation, while maintaining strong oversight of product governance, control effectiveness and customer outcomes. Leading a high-performing team, you will help shape the future of ANZ's Trade & Supply Chain business in an increasingly complex and digitally evolving environment.

What will your day look like?
As the Head of Trade & Supply Chain Product Development & Change, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering ANZ’s Trade & Supply Chain product roadmap, driving product innovation, governance, and change initiatives that enhance customer outcomes while maintaining strong risk and regulatory controls.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across Product Development, Change Delivery and Product Assurance, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of product development and change initiatives, ensuring successful implementation, adoption and operational readiness across multiple markets.
- Drive customer-focused product enhancements that simplify processes, improve experiences and support scalable growth across the Trade & Supply Chain portfolio.
- Partner closely with Sales, Technology, Operations, Risk and Compliance teams to deliver integrated solutions and accelerate business outcomes.
- Strengthen product governance, controls and assurance frameworks, ensuring compliance with Product Policy, financial crime, AML/CTF and sanctions obligations.
- Build organisational capability in product lifecycle management, change delivery, risk management and governance disciplines.
- Leverage market intelligence, emerging trends and innovation to evolve ANZ’s Trade & Supply Chain offering and maintain competitive advantage.
- Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to strategic, financial and customer objectives while driving continuous improvement across the portfolio.
What will you bring?
We're looking for an experienced product and change leader with deep Trade & Supply Chain expertise, a strong understanding of risk and governance frameworks, and a track record of delivering complex change across large, multi-market organisations.
- Deep expertise in Trade & Supply Chain products, product lifecycle management and ANZ's Product Management Policy.
- Proven leadership experience managing large, complex teams and delivering strategic change across multiple markets and stakeholder groups.
- Strong understanding of credit risk, working capital principles, governance, regulatory requirements, risk management and controls.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders, including clients, regulators, boards and government entities.
- Commercially minded with a strong client focus and the ability to lead senior customer engagements and deliver customer-centric outcomes.
- Experience driving product development, change delivery, process optimisation and operational efficiency.
- An innovation mindset, supported by digital and technology awareness and an ability to leverage market trends to improve products and customer experiences.
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Banking or a related discipline.
Highly regarded:
- Experience across Institutional Banking products, including Trade & Supply Chain, Payments & Cash Management and Corporate Lending.
- Understanding of Technology and Operations environments and their role in successful product delivery and change implementation.
