About the Role
As a Supplier Relationship Manager, you will be responsible to provide day-to-day operational support and management between ANZ and high-risk third-party suppliers, ensuring performance, contract, and compliance standards are met. Develop and implement supplier strategies to manage service delivery and risk, improve processes, and support demand management. Maintain long-term collaborative relationships and deliver contract management expertise to enhance value and process improvements across ANZ.

What will your day look like?
As a Supplier Relationship Manager, you will:
- Drive cost efficiency by identifying and implementing real cost-saving and cost-avoidance opportunities across business units and suppliers.
- Ensure supplier performance by monitoring adherence to agreed service standards and contract schedules, and supporting business units in managing tactical suppliers.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by proactively managing internal and external relationships and using customer complaints as opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Develop strategic supplier relationships through clear, medium-term engagement strategies and timely resolution of supplier issues via collaboration and influence.
- Monitor market and internal trends to inform category strategies and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Foster capability development by identifying skill gaps, working with line managers to improve performance, and ensuring compliance with the OCM framework and related policies.
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Supplier management subject matter expertise
- Able to influence and manage stakeholders with conflicting priorities
- Relationship management skills with both local and global stakeholders
- Able to analyse and present complex data as required while presenting viable solutions to the associated challenge/opportunity
- Sound understanding of internal and external business environment with an ability to identify opportunities for alignment and synergy
- Exposure of risk management best practice including an awareness of APRA standards.
