About the Role
As a Stream Lead in our ASIC Matters Remediation Program – Events Management, you’ll play a key role in leading uplift of the Events Management Process across ANZ Retail, B&PB and Operations. This role is accountable for leading the implementation of remediation activities, embedding new standards and processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations as part of the ASIC Matters Remediation Plan.

What will your day look like?
As a Stream Lead, you will:
- Design, implement, and embed deliverables under the ASIC Matters Remediation Plan for Event Management, including activities focused on improving event management processes, procedures, and guidance.
- Engage with internal stakeholders across the Retail Division, Operations and Business & Private Bank, collaborating closely to ensure alignment and consistency of new events management processes.
- Monitor and report on remediation progress, including the preparation of closure packs and regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with first and second line representatives to ensure solutions are robust, compliant, and embedded into business-as-usual processes.
- Engage with Businesses as required, supporting the embedding of remediation activities, including training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage deliverables to a tight schedule and high standard of quality
- Coordinate the management of dependencies, including competing priorities and sequencing of work to optimise team output
- Apply standards, processes and activities that align to the ANZ Delivery Framework and Investment Governance processes
- Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, managers and key stakeholders, anticipating and responding to evolving stakeholder needs through effective communications.
- Demonstrate ANZ values and building a customer focused culture, adapting own behaviour to changing demands, and fostering collaboration across teams / business units
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing remediation activities within a regulated financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of event management processes, systemic issues management, and regulatory obligations relevant to ASIC Matters.
- Proven ability to engage and influence a wide range of internal stakeholders across business units, including first and second line representatives.
- Experience in monitoring, reporting, and preparing closure documentation for remediation activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a project or program team, delivering sustainable solutions that increase effectiveness
- Superior stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship building skills to develop close working relationships with Stream Leads, other Senior Project Managers, Program Director and business leads, to ensure positive and collaborative project delivery outcomes
- Experience and use of the Atlassian suite of products, JIRA, Confluence etc.
- High organisational skills, suitable to high paced complex program delivery environment.
- An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants, putting them at the centre of everything you do
